Jens Ohle

Jens Ohle, Engineering Manager has a strong focus of driving innovation, discipline and process throughout our global business. Jens first joined Sealite at the beginning of 2016 as a Systems Engineer after moving to Australia from Abu Dhabi.

Jens’ engineering career was launched at Telkom South Africa after winning a bursary to study a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical). His success in developing efficient processes and automation quickly earnt him Engineering Specialist status, with key successes in Business Automation and effective time use.

Jens has global experience, which is vital to the multi-faceted Sealite business. Before beginning his Sealite voyage, Jens worked as a Team Leader - Systems Integration for a global securities company. Jens earlier enjoyed a successful career in one of the largest South African Agriculture enterprise as Network and ICT Manager, utilising his early work in Telecommunications to spearhead the automation of Water Management and Irrigation over a vast geographic region.

Jens has a Masters of Engineering and is an INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP). In Jens’s spare time he enjoys woodworking, flying RF helicopters with his children and hiking with family.
